Great article by Paul Elam.
Biologically based differences are nothing to be feared or ashamed. Yet we are- why?
This article has, IMO, some subtle gender bias: men are reluctant to ‘give up the reins’ to ’empowered’ women, and need to get with the program.
Fundamentally flawed assumptions aside, this 2 minute fly-by of gender-based relations in regard to family money management has many checklists leading to “equity,” but the studies I’ve seen looking at how this works out in reality question how this works real-time. For instance:
Important contextual issues (how relative earnings power impacts marriage happiness, longevity, etc.) are totally ignored.
Just had to post this somewhere….a dated classic.
An important article.
Common sense and fact. Combine that with the fact that it’s on a conservative blog (and publically available) means it will never be read.
Attempts to reference these facts will be followed by marginalization, ad hominems, and generlly offensive liberal behavior.
Feminisms’ cracking foundation? Or just a a case of facts interfering against a self-selecting phony victimhood?
Replicable?- not likely. Might sell a few newspapers, though.
Military sponsored warlock hunt, with predetermined outcomes. Judy Kleinfelt and others have looked into the recent (?) phenomenon of bogus gender biased research, and while some of it is very subtle, some is very obvious.
This one is very obvious.
